Hillary Brings Up RFK Assassination To Justify Staying In The Race

Seeing what Hillary Clinton said about why she is staying in the race had my jaw dropping to the floor all on its own just now. For her to mention that Robert Kennedy Jr. was assassinated in June as a reason to stay in the race that she lost is a slap in the face not only to the memory of Bobby, Barack Obama and the Democratic Party, but a display of carelessness for humanity. She would pull anything and everything out of the woodwork to continue to run for President as we can clearly see here.

From The Huffington Post:

Hillary Clinton's argument for staying in the race took a disturbing turn today. While meeting with the editorial board of South Dakota's Sioux Falls Argus-Leader, she raised the specter of assassination while discussing why she would stay in the race:
"My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don't understand it."
The issue of assassination has been a sensitive one this election. Black voters have repeatedly expressed concern that Barack Obama would be assassinated during the race, sentiment that hearkens back to the murders of civil rights leaders, Bobby Kennedy's assassination included.

Hillary may not understand it, but that would be because she is divorced from reality. Sure, her campaign around her knows the end is inevitable but Mrs. Clinton thinks otherwise. To invoke the assassination of Bobby Kennedy is a sin among sins. I wrote her off as my choice for President a long time ago, but now I don't even want her to be my Senator.
