Sorry Obamamaniacs, its just a small group of ex-patriate Americans living in or near Jakarta, Indonesia. These approximately one hundred voters cast their ballots yesterday and an overwhelming seventy-five percent went to Barack. Of course Barack spent some time there as a kid when his mother was studying for her Ph D. in Jakarta, while going back and forth to his grandparents house in Oahu.
I guess it is nice to see an early win, but its nothing to what the results may or may not bring starting in a few hours from now. Indonesia represents only a fraction of the six million eligible voters that live outside the country and in all, Democrats Abroad sends 22 delegates to the convention, or about a little over one percent of what is need to obtain the nomination.
Now back to those on the mainland, make sure you vote and have your voice heard, with a close race in at least a few of the states up for grabs today, that one vote may count more than you know.
