With Obama Leading In Nearly Every Poll, Media Looks To Conjure Controversy And Concern

The media is working overtime in getting a new narrative up on the board, that Democrats are worried about Obama's chances. Of course they'll find party fish to take the bait, such as Donny Fowler and un-named Democratic fund-raisers that the NY Post relies on. However, despite a few players that are off-message, the country always knows better than pundits and even the pollsters.

For instance, the division between Hillary and Obama supporters has virtually disappeared. The USA Today will write ridiculous headlines meant to cause controversy yet wait until the last paragraph to mention that eight in ten Americans aren't satisfied with the way things are going. Who do you think has led them to believe that? It isn't Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid that are on most people's minds, it is the man moron currently in the White House. And guess who wants to be just like him for another four or eight years. No, not Barack Obama, despite McCain's surrogates who say as much.

Here in New York conservatively-bent papers like the NY Post are trying to claim that even New York is worrisome for Democrats. Is it true? Of course not. The Post thinks that a double-digit lead for Obama in the Empire State is a good thing for McCain and could even help the GOP to hold onto the State Senate. The media is desperately trying to make this thing into a race (even on the front page of the NY Times) but ultimately in the end, the people will prevail.
