This may not be the most pressing of news, but it is a Friday night so what the hell. Apparently a Whole Foods employee leaked the news along with a photo of the new pint sized ice cream container. Ben 'n' Jerry's won't provide any hard information, but they are hinting that something is in the works.

Suffering from sweet-toothiness? Ben and Jerry's is rumored to have a new flavour in the works: Stephen Colbert's "Americone Dream" Ice Cream. Information regarding this latest addition was first leaked to Colbert fan site NoFactZone.net by a random Whole Foods employee, who even went so far as to provide this pic.
Looks and sounds yummy. I remember when the Dave Matthews Band "One Sweet Whirled" came out and bought a few of those delicious treats. Colbert's looks even better. There really isn't much more on this topic, so I'm open to ice cream suggestions. They say after surgery you are supposed to eat a lot of ice cream and being a recent patient of a knee surgeon, I am game for some of the cold stuff.

To finally wrap up this ice cream scoop ... I bribed one of our graphic designers to take a photo of Americone Dream. Just sent it to you, DB. To answer the question of where you can get it: nowhere as of yet. This was a packaging sample, not a live product sample; the pint is actually empty. Though that hasn’t stopped a constant stream of coworkers from stopping by my office to touch it reverently, as though it were the Shroud of Turin. [Editor’s note: Tee hee!]
