Stephen Colbert Wins 'Man Of The Year'

Well it isn't an honor from Time Magazine, although if we all won last year then so did he. The award came from the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. Stephen is definitely at the top of his game and comedy is a desperately needed skill in these bleak times. Especially when that humor is used to fight conservatives.

From the show on Friday night:

"What an honor. An honor to receive and an honor for you to give to me," Colbert said during the ceremony late Friday.

Often appearing to be a combination of Bill O'Reilly and Archie Bunker, Colbert emphasized that his television character is not him.

"He's not malicious, he's ill-informed, you know. It's just a product of his own education. And he thinks he's saying and doing the right thing, he's not actually trying to hurt anybody," said Colbert.

Colbert is also planning on writing a book, although it is not known if it will assume the textbook style of his other mentor, Jon Stewart.
