Senator Shelby went on Fox News to talk about bank bailouts yesterday, but he mysteriously forgets that last fall when the President approved of bank bailouts, it was Bush, not Obama who started doling out hundreds of billions to the banks.

Chris Wallace Uses Cheney's Praises To Defend His Conservative Honor
This back and forth between Chris Wallace and Mike Gallagher is hilarious. Gallagher, most likely jealous that Wallace has a larger audience, taunts Wallace for not being Republican enough. Well Wallace wasn't going to take that sitting down, oh no! He can prove he's a far greater Republican hack than Gallagher will ever be.

Rep. Pence Believes Hating On Gays Will Help Rebuild His Party
The GOP is truly lost and wandering deeper and deeper into the woods. Their number one problem is to find a way to reverse their slide into being a regional party and losing even more elections. All sorts of pundits and conservative politicians are furiously trying to figure out what to do, but Republican Congressman Mike Pence of Indiana is clearly not one of them. Much like his view of the al-Shorja market in Baghdad, he's way off on how to get the American people back on his side.
From RawStory:
Yeah Mike, you clearly do not have a clue. What you mean by 'sanctity of marriage' is really discrimination against gay people and the infringement of their rights as Americans. While it was a shame to see those ballot measures passed, the voting bloc that was most against them were the youth of this country that does not appreciate your bigotry and reliance on wedge issues. Relying on a message of hate and divisiveness will only get you so far, but when our nation is hurting from years of a conservatively-run government we want to hear about how we can improve our plight and not cut down a certain few who are do not share your sexual orientation.
The Republican brand is still alive and well, Rep. Mike Pence said on Fox News Sunday.
When asked by Chris Wallace what "conservative solutions" the GOP would bring to their current minority-party status, Pence said social issues like "the sanctity of marriage" will remain the backbone of the Republican platform.
"You build those conservative solutions, Chris, on the same time-honored principles of limited government, a belief in free markets, in the sanctity of life, the sanctity of marriage," Pence said.
The Indiana representative cited the ballot measures against gay marriage that passed on Election Day as evidence of the continuing presence of conservative values.

It's Bad When Rove Calls Out Your Lies
Even the official chief liar and manipulator Karl Rove couldn't spin away the blatant string of lies that McCain has tried to pull over the American people:

Chris Wallace Makes A Fool Out Of Rick Davis
Every once in a while, Chris Wallace forgets he works at Fox News and acts like a journalist. Yesterday was one of those days, when Rick Davis came on to the show and Wallace smacked him upside the head with a few nuggets of truth and then catching him trying to spin his way out of an unescapable trap.

Byron York Calls McClellan Naive! What Nerve!
As usual on the Fox Sunday shows, ridiculousness ensues from its conservative guests. Here Byron York calls Scott McClellan naive for believing in the goodness of George W.
Hey Byron, who are you calling naive (not to mention twisted and demented)?

Cheers To Chris Wallace!
Yes, thats right Chris Wallace wallops the tools on Fox and Friends this morning for their ridiculous Obama-bashing. Fox and Friends unfairly took Obama's speech and clipped it to suit their malicious talking points, but Chris wasn't having any of it.
Again, bravo!

The Pundit-In-Chief
George Bush analyzing the current election is a joke in of itself. When he opens his mouth, he is only spouting complete bullshit and propaganda. Even CNN can admit to it:

Who Ya Callin "Fool," Fool
Chris Wallace, the ever intrepid "journalist" at Fox News loves to hear himself talk, especially when it involves bashing Democrats. His latest salvo included calling Democrats "fools" for not appearing on his beloved network. He believes that because his show is doing better in Washington (yet rated fourth nationwide), Democratic representatives should be appearing on his show and not ignore the network as a whole.
From The Politico:
On a recent Sunday morning, shortly after refereeing a debate between Karl Rove and Democratic Rep. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, Wallace talked to Politico about the Democrats’ lack of appearances on Fox News, the “liberal bias” at competing networks and how November’s television ratings prove that while his show remains in fourth place nationwide, it’s on the upswing in Washington [...]
“I think the Democrats are damn fools [for] not coming on Fox News,” Wallace said. “And my guess is that once you get a nominee, they probably will come on, because they know that we get a lot of voters they are going to need if they are going to win the election.”
Huh?
Murdoch and Ailes must force Wallace to inhale some pretty toxic vapors in order to believe that there are independent or, dare I say, Democratic voters that watch his show or the network. The numbers do not lie, Fox News is right wing propaganda outlet, while CNN and MSNBC are hardly the opposite of Fox. Those cable news networks may try to act like Fox here and there, but as for a liberal bias on either, that is quite a stretch of the imagination.

Chris Wallace Is One To Talk
Here and there, I find myself agreeing with Chris Wallace of Fox News. Now is one of those times. He felt himself getting 'even stupider' watching the CNN debate in Nevada last week, well so did I (from what I saw afterwards that is). As Chris said, Wolf Blitzer did a terrible job, but did anyone expect him to be anything other than an maestro for the media narrative of the Democratic candidates?
Now as for Chris...Mr. Wallace works for Fox News and is therefore a representative of the network. As any clearly thinking person knows, Fox is an outlet of propaganda for the right, not any type of purveyor of truth (not that the other networks excel at that either). Chris mentioned that Fox is "smarter" at doing debates because they let people talk. That is just utter nonsense. All you need to do is look up Bill O'Reilly in the dictionary to refute that piece of garbage.
The thought occurred to me while reading that story that Chris was making an appeal to host a debate for the Democrats. That would be atrocious if the candidates accepted an offer from Fox. Thankfully Democrats (led by Edwards) turned them down earlier this year. The questions from Chris and Co. wouldn't just follow a media narrative, it would be far worse. I could just imagine the questions..."Why do you hate America?" and "Why do you decry George Bush while the country is doing so well due to his policies?" Yeah, if watching CNN's debate is like hearing fingernails scraping across a chalkboard, Fox would waterboard us for two hours.
So instead of Chris being high and mighty about Fox versus CNN's pathetic attempt at hosting debates, he might just want to STFU unless he wants to talk about the truthiness at Fox first.

LMFAO At Karl Rove
Oh Karl, how you make me laugh (and cry sometimes to because of your record of destroying our Constitution). The terrible attempt at dancing on the stage at the White House Correspondents Dinner was one thing, but the interview on Fox News (of all places) with Chris Wallace yesterday was just too much.
From RawStory:
"Why not appear under oath or at least allow a transcript?" asked Wallace.
"Because of the Constitution of the United States," replied Rove, citing the separation of powers and suggesting there would be a public outcry if either Congressional aides or Supreme Court clerks were called to testify by one of the other branches.
"The Constitution does not prevent you from speaking to me, so in fact I'll ask you some questions," responded Wallace. "Why did you push to fire some US Attorneys in the president's second term?"
"Nice try," Rove came back. "The president has prerogatives that stand up not only to Congress but also to you. ... What I advised the president is protected by that prerogative. Nice try, Chris." Rove then spelled out the doctrine of executive privilege, saying, "You don't understand you're being an agent of Congress when you ask me that question, but you are."
An agent of Congress? Caring about the Constitution? If I had more floor space here I'd be rolling on the ground with laughter. So I'll just chuckle and smirk instead. Karl cares as much about the Constitution as Hitler had fondness for the Jews. The "brain" pathetically tried to defend himself with executive privilege, but he forgets that the Congress represents the American people. Even though Wallace works at Fox News, I give him some credit for asking a tough question even if he couldn't get a good answer.

Giuliani: Blaming Others For His Problems
First of all it amazes me that Chris Wallace would ask such a tough question of Rudy. Why did he refuse to acknowledge the advice of Jerry Hauer to move the Emergency Command Center from WTC 7? Instead of owning up to his mistake, he laughs it off and ignores what Jerry Hauer said and blamed Jerry for not wanting to move from WTC 7. The callousness that drips from this man's mouth is abhorrent.

Waters Throws Right-wing Talking Points In Chris Wallace's Face
Maxine Waters is an incredible lady and a Congresswoman who is dedicated to the principles that she believes in. Having attended numerous rallies and functions against the war, she knows how to counter the right-wingers who hurl their misleading talking points at Democrats, trying to make them look weak.
Well Maxine wasn't having any of it. She took Fox News' Chris Wallace to task and handed his heaping plate of BS right back with a nice side of truth (not to be confused with 'truthiness'). She discussed her proposal on how to deal with Iraq and sparred quite nicely on the Fox Noise Channel.

"Well, I think cut and run is a kind of language that has been used by this administration and others to intimidate those of us who are responding to the American people's desire to get our soldiers out of Iraq. Our soldiers are dying every day. Civilians are dying by the thousands - uh, in Iraq. I just don't want to wake up one morning to find that they have bombed one of our compounds and hundreds of our soldiers have been killed."

FNC's Chris Wallace Throws Feith To The Wolves
I would have never expected Chris Wallace to practice actual journalism over parroting Republican talking points over at the Fox Noise Channel. However it seems he may just have done that this morning. The victim of journalism just happened to be be former Undersecretary of Defense Douglas Feith. Something in my mind says that there is something behind this. Ailes would never let one of the Bush Adminstrations goons to be placed in the fire, would they?
From RawStory (w/video):
During this morning's edition of Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace follows up an interview with Douglas Feith which aired the previous week and points to a Weekly Standard article from November 2003 in order to debunk Feith's claim that he never connected Iraq with al Qaeda.
After airing a clip of last week's interview, in which Feith claims that "Nobody in my office ever said there was an operational relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda," Wallace goes on the offensive.
"But it turns out he did make that case," says Wallace, "in a memo he sent to the Senate Intelligence Committee in October of '03." Wallace then quotes a Weekly Standard article which describes the memo as saying, "Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein had an operational relationship from the early 1990s to 2003."
Chris mentioned that he did this because many viewers wanted him to check out what Feith told Wallace on last week's show. Perhaps even people on the right see through the thick mounds of bullshit that spew from this moron's face. Yet I'm still skeptical honestly, why would they cast that spotlight on Feith?

Cheney Is Wrong! Biden et al. School Fox News
Just watch the video, it is brilliant. Chris Wallace of Fox News interviews Democratic Senators Carl Levin and Joe Biden thinking he'll corner them on the war. Instead poor old rightwing-parroting Chris is taught a lesson, that Cheney has never, ever been right about anything regarding Iraq. The only thing Cheney can be given credit for is knowing how to make him and his cronies rich.
