Republicans have tried to pain Barack Obama as an elitist this year, part of their never-ending plan to smear the Democratic nominee despite the fact that nothing is really working. Somehow in their minds, being raised by a single mom and your grandmother is akin to a childhood on the Upper East Side with a doorman. Yet when they hurl these charges, they might want to rein in their own candidate first. Apparently, John McCain can't remember how many homes he and his wife own.
We should all have such problems:
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said in an interview Wednesday that he was uncertain how many houses he and his wife, Cindy, own.
"I think — I'll have my staff get to you," McCain told Politico in Las Cruces, N.M. "It's condominiums where — I'll have them get to you."
The correct answer is at least four, located in Arizona, California and Virginia, according to his staff. Newsweek estimated this summer that the couple owns at least seven properties.
Condominiums? That sounds kinda inexpensive, until you get to see them of course. That is just one residence though, to truly begin to understand their wealth, check this article out.
So you know, ya might be an elitist....if you consider $3 million a year middle class. Ya might be an elitist if.....you forgot how many houses you own. And ya might be an elitist if....all you care about is the rich and want to make them richer by screwing the poor.
