Photo/VideoBlog of Jim Webb's Inaugural Party

First the videos of Jim. I apologize for the shaky picture, the crowd was stomping quite a bit on those wood floors.

Crowd estimates ranged from 1000 to 1200 people, the hall was packed to the brim and flowed out on to the streets.

Thankfully I got there early enough to get close to the stage to hear the action upclose and personal. The band was great and Webb came out fighting, heck he was born fighting!

After clapping with the crowd (those who were going along with the music) Jim came out and greeted the crowd.

The first video is his introduction. Fantastic speech to say the least. Part 2 is where he tells us how he will support the troops in regards to the GI bill, because you know Bush isn't going to.

And now to leave you with a few more shots, including Jim and his family, especially that cute new baby. I saw Mrs. Webb's older daughter kiss the baby's arm and it was oh-so-cute. What a great Senator we are going to have and a great family to back him up.
