You're A Socialist Too Sarah

John McCain and Sarah Palin are throwing the kitchen sink and then some with the hope of knocking Barack Obama and Joe Biden from their lead over them. Bill Ayers and ACORN hasn't seemed to work, so now they're going with "Nah, nah, nah, nah, you're a socialist!" The problem with that is, with their standards, Sarah Palin is a socialist too.

From Crooks and Liars:

McCain's last ditch effort is too say that Obama is a socialist. Wallace called him out on it.

WALLACE: But, Senator, you voted for the $700 billion bailout that's being used partially to nationalize American banks. Isn't that socialism?

As we know Conservatism has ran up the largest debt this country has ever known, started two wars and destroyed Wall Street under the compassionate one, but be afraid of Obama.I saw Sarah Palin saying the same thing.

On Sunday, she went a step further.

“Barack Obama calls it spreading the wealth,” she said. “Joe Biden calls higher taxes patriotic. But Joe the plumber and Ed the dairy man, I believe that they think that it sounds more like socialism. Friends, now is no time to experiment with socialism.”

Didn't she redistribute the wealth in Alaska? You know, take the oil profits, impose a tax and kick it back to Alaskans?

Nevermind those pesky facts, it wouldn't be a good ol' fashioned GOP attack if it didn't reek of hypocrisy. You know, kinda like the whining Rick Davis has done about the $150 million that Obama raised last month. Expect plenty more of this crap over the next two weeks, that is for sure.

McCain Doesn't Know What Party Obama Is In

McCain already said he doesn't know much about certain important issues concerning Americans. People are starting to understand that John is out of touch with the majority of citizens in this country and as the polls show, voters want change. Though I would think the Republican candidate might know what party his opponent was in, but obviously he doesn't.

From The Kansas City Star:

John McCain says Barack Obama was labeled as having the "most extreme" record in the Senate.

"Extreme? You really think hes an extremist? I mean, he's clearly a liberal," interviewer Dave Helling asks.

"That's his voting record," McCain responds. "All I said was his voting record, and that is more to the left than the announced Socialist in the United States Senate, Bernie Sanders of Vermont."

"Do you think hes a socialist, Barack Obama?" Helling asks.

McCain responds with a with a shrug, "I don't know."

That is not a good sign if McCain doesn't even know the political views of his opponent. Despite having disagreements, it is always best to know where the other guy is coming from. Then again, this is John "McSame" McCain we are talking about.

On another note, ThinkProgress took down the article, concerning the piece, but left the comments up at the behest of their lawyers.
